Plasma is an ionized gas. During treatment with the plasma handpiece, micro-sparks are generated on the skin. The plasma sparks create microchannels in the skin and cause superficial skin renewal. The skin is warmed and contracts.
Treatment process
Before the treatment, the skin is disinfected. In case of increased sensitivity, we apply a locally anesthetic cream 30 minutes before the treatment. Afterwards, a fragrance-free sun protection is applied.
The plasma treatment leads to slight redness and swelling of the skin.
Sometimes, micro-scabs may form.
The treatment lasts about 30 - 45 minutes.
3 - 6 treatments at intervals of 4 weeks are recommended.
